Germany Saturday/Sunday, with EPL lean

As I may not get to post this weekend, here are the strong leans so far:

In the Regionalliga Nord, I am taking Bielefeld (A) over Wuppertal. Wuppertal are in disarray, and until they get it together, I am against them. I don't necessarily see Bielefeld getting all 3 points, but I think they can get at least one - so 1X.

In the Bundesliga, I like the VfB away in Nuernberg. VfB look to have enough not to lose here, and Nuernberg won't have that urgency to get their first points, since they took all 3 in Kaiserslautern last weekend. Most likely a draw, but X2 for me here. Hildebrandt won't make 2 mistakes like last week again all season, and a clean sheet isn't out of the question. A word of caution - I am a life-long VfB fan, so this isn't exactly impartial thinking here.

In the EPL, I like Aston Villa to get at least one point at home to Southampton. Villa are a good home side, and the Saints aren't great away from St. Mary's. 1X here.

On Sunday, I like Trier to win, possibly draw, against Essen. Trier is starting well again, and Essen looked outclassed in Aue, and the odds look good to me. Another 1X.

For Saturday, I have booked only the Bielefeld 1X over Wuppertal. I'd like to see both the VfB and Nuernberg one more time before coming to a decision on them.

Saturday made me sweat - I was watching the live scores, and very close to the end they gave credit to Wuppertal for their 3rd goal, only to change it back to the 2-2 draw a few minutes later. Luckily, in the end, only the final counts.

For Sunday, I have booked Eintracht Trier in the 1X over Rot-Weiss Essen. As mentioned above, Essen had a dreadful start against Aue; in addition, Trier were very solid at home last season, so an away win would be quite a surprise.
